The city we want to live in,
we design it ourselves

No Rules, Just Culture · Rewriting the rules of space

Empty storefronts and disused factories in downtown Daegu, along with aging houses on the outskirts of Suseong-gu, are reborn as a new cultural ecosystem through the imagination of young creators. This is an idea competition that seeks solutions to youth outflow, high housing costs, and regional aging through the cultural industry.

Participants choose one of two tracks and design an innovative business model that can change the world.

TracksTracks

Discover a culture-industry-based convergence business model using the idle and aging spaces of Daegu and Suseong-gu.

Track A

Turning Idle Local Spaces into
'Creative Lounges'

Propose a 'space-matching platform' that connects idle facilities scattered across downtown Daegu to young creators for short-term exhibitions, pop-up stores, and indie performances. We are looking for ideas that breathe K-content and culture into empty spaces, transforming them into new lifestyle hubs where the 2030 generation can enjoy and linger anytime.

Track B

Breaking Housing Barriers with
'Creator Co-living'

Design a 'cultural sharing economy' model that converts aging houses or empty shops on the outskirts of Suseong-gu (Jisan, Beommul, etc.) into live-work spaces for young artists and startups. Young people receive rent reductions in exchange for offering cultural classes and exhibitions for local residents, while the community regains youthful vitality through a sustainable intergenerational business.
