Culture-based Regional Development
and Global Collaboration

Under the theme 'Culture-based Regional Development and Global Collaboration,' the 7th WCIF in 2026 will be a historic stage marking the first step of substantive and productive cultural exchange between Suseong-gu, one of Korea's leading cities of culture and education, and Shibukawa City in Gunma Prefecture, Japan.

We are confident that the vibrant cooperative initiatives the two cities will pursue will become the most exemplary milestone of culture-based regional development beyond borders.
